Most staff buy something in SAP Ariba only a few times a year, so the steps are easy to forget. Outcomer shows each step on their own screen, using your own buying rules.

We check every step works before your staff see it.
Outcomer isn’t a library of ready-made SAP Ariba guides. We build your guides from your own procedures, on your own SAP Ariba set-up, and test each one before your staff use it.
Your employees get the answer on screen, in SAP Ariba and the systems around it, instead of interrupting a colleague or raising a ticket.
SAP Ariba training explains the standard buying process, but staff use it only now and then. Outcomer answers their questions at the moment they are buying or receiving, using your own rules.
General answers for the standard product. Your own set-up may differ, and that’s what Outcomer follows.
If you can't find the item, you can add it as a non-catalogue (ad hoc) item and type in its details yourself. Then check out as normal. Your set-up may differ: some firms use set request forms for certain kinds of purchase.
Many fields at checkout are filled in from your user profile, such as accounting details and addresses. You can change them for this request. Any required field must be completed before the request can be submitted.
Approvers are set by rules that can depend on amount, commodity, whether the item is on contract, and more. So changing a quantity or price can add, remove or reorder approvers. You can see who must approve, and why, before you submit.
The status is shown at the top right of the requisition. 'Submitted' means it has been sent for approval, 'Approved' means fully approved, 'Ordered' means a purchase order has gone to the supplier, and 'Receiving' means some but not all items have been received.
Yes, while it is still submitted (not yet approved) you can use Edit. This puts it back into a composing state, and it must be submitted again. To delete a requisition, you must withdraw it first. Your firm's edit rules may limit this.
Open it from the to-do area on your dashboard or from the email link, then choose Approve or Deny. You can add a comment. If your firm allows it, you can also act straight from the email notification without logging in.
Yes. You can add an extra approver, for example someone with expertise in the item, or add a watcher. A watcher gets notifications and can view the document but cannot approve or deny it. You can usually only move or remove approvers you added yourself, not the ones set by the rules.
Open the receipt from your to-do list, the Receive option on the request or order, or the email notification. Enter the quantity or amount you received, then submit. You can receive in parts as items arrive. Your set-up may differ: some orders are received automatically.
On the receipt, enter the damaged quantity as rejected instead of accepted. This starts a return. SAP Ariba does not tell the supplier for you, so the return must also be arranged with them directly, in line with your firm's process.
Open the order and choose Change. This opens a new version of the original request, where you can update amounts, quantities, accounting or shipping. Submit it for approval. Once approved, a new order version is sent to the supplier. Changes are not possible once the order is fully received or invoiced.
Open the order and choose Cancel, then add a reason in the comments. This creates a new version of the request, which usually needs approval. Once approved, the order shows as cancelled. You can't cancel an order that is closed, and fully received or invoiced lines may block it.
If your employees ask questions like these every week, Outcomer answers them on their own screen, using your own SAP Ariba set-up and procedures.
See which SAP Ariba tasks staff ask about most, which procedure answered each question, and whether it was finished or passed to your support desk. Your IT team can export it at any time.
Outcomer never reads, uses or keeps the data in your systems. It finds each box and button by its label, never what’s typed in it, takes no screenshots, and works from your procedures, not your records.
