Your finance, procurement and HR staff can ask how to do a task in Oracle EBS and see each step on their own screen. The steps follow your own procedures and set-up, not a generic manual.
Book a 10-minute demoAfter the demo, we’ll set up your department free of charge. A small trial confirms it’s accurate, then a larger trial measures the drop in support queries.
We check every step works before your staff see it.
Outcomer isn’t a library of ready-made Oracle EBS guides. We build your guides from your own procedures, on your own Oracle EBS set-up, and test each one before your staff use it.
Your finance, procurement and HR staff get the answer on screen, in Oracle EBS and the systems around it, instead of interrupting a colleague or raising a ticket.
Training covers the basics, but questions come up mid-task. Outcomer answers them while your finance, procurement and HR staff work in Oracle EBS, using your own procedures.
General answers for the standard product. Your own set-up may differ, and that’s what Outcomer follows.
Submit a request from the Submit Request window. Choose the program name, fill in any parameters that pop up, then set the schedule, output format and printing if you need to. Review your choices and submit. Your responsibility controls which reports you can see.
Open the Requests window, which starts on Find Requests. Search for your request, select it once it has completed and choose View Output. Choose View Log if you need to see what happened during the run.
Requests move through four phases: Pending, Running, Completed and Inactive. Inactive means the request is on hold or can't run, for example with the status No Manager. Select the request and use Diagnostics to see why, and ask your system administrator if it stays stuck.
Yes, if it is still pending. In the Requests window, select the request and choose Hold Request or Cancel Request. You can only work with requests that you or your responsibility submitted.
Use Find from the View menu or toolbar, or use Query by Example. Choose View, Query by Example, Enter, type your criteria in the fields shown in blue, then choose Run. You can use % to match any characters, but don't enter % on its own because it returns every record.
Use the Switch Responsibilities icon on the toolbar and pick from your list. Some preference changes only take effect after you change responsibility or start a new session. If a responsibility you need isn't listed, ask your system administrator.
In your Worklist, choose Vacation Rules, then Create Rule. Pick the type of notification, set start and end dates, and choose an action, such as reassigning to a colleague. Avoid overlapping rules for the same notifications.
When you delegate, the other person responds on your behalf but you keep ownership. When you transfer, they take full ownership of the notification. Delegate suits holiday cover; transfer suits a notification that was sent to the wrong person.
Open the notification and, in the Response section, choose Request Information. Pick the person, type your question in Information Requested and submit. While you wait, the notification sits under Notifications From Me rather than in your open list.
In iProcurement, Incomplete is a saved cart and In-Process means it is waiting for approval. Approved means purchasing can turn it into an order. Returned means no approver was found, or the buyer sent it back without raising an order. Requires Reapproval means a change needs approving again.
On the Requisitions tab, select it and click Change or Cancel Requisition. Before it is on a purchase order, changes and cancellations happen straight away. Once it is on an approved purchase order, you can only send a request that the buyer must accept.
Click the requisition number, then View Approval History. Any reason the approver gave appears in the Notes column. To resubmit, select the requisition and click Change, which returns it to your cart.
If your finance, procurement and HR staff ask questions like these every week, Outcomer answers them on their own screen, using your own Oracle EBS set-up and procedures.
See which Oracle EBS tasks staff ask about most, which procedure answered each question, and whether it was finished or passed to your support desk. Your IT team can export it at any time.
Outcomer never reads, uses or keeps the data in your systems. It finds each box and button by its label, never what’s typed in it, takes no screenshots, and works from your procedures, not your records.
