Warehouse operatives and supervisors can ask how to do a task in SAP EWM and see each step on their own screen. The steps follow your own procedures and set-up, not a generic manual.
Book a 10-minute demoAfter the demo, we’ll set up your department free of charge. A small trial confirms it’s accurate, then a larger trial measures the drop in support queries.
We check every step works before your staff see it.
Outcomer isn’t a library of ready-made SAP EWM guides. We build your guides from your own procedures, on your own SAP EWM set-up, and test each one before your staff use it.
Your warehouse operatives and supervisors get the answer on screen, in SAP EWM and the systems around it, instead of interrupting a colleague or raising a ticket.
Operatives learn the RF menus in training, then meet short picks, damaged pallets and logon errors on shift. Outcomer answers their questions while they work, so they follow your process without waiting for a supervisor.
General answers for the standard product. Your own set-up may differ, and that’s what Outcomer follows.
Open transaction /SCWM/RFUI (Log On to RF Environment). Enter your warehouse number, resource and presentation device, then press Enter. Some of these may be filled in from your user settings, and if auto logon is set you go straight in. You stay logged on until you log off.
The resource you chose is still logged on, often because an earlier session on another device was not logged off. Log off from the RF menu on that device if you can, or pick the resource you are meant to use. If neither works, ask your supervisor to check the resource. Your set-up may differ.
This can happen when your RF session drops or you open a second session on the gun, so the old one still holds the order. Users have cleared it by pressing Back until the resource logon screen appears, then starting picking again. To avoid it, log off properly before breaks rather than leaving the session open.
Sometimes. You can correct a confirmed warehouse task, on screen or on RF, only while the inbound delivery is still within its completion delay. You change the quantity and enter an exception code, and EWM posts the difference. Once the delivery is completed, the task can no longer be changed. Serial-numbered products cannot be corrected this way.
Log on to the RF environment, then open Internal Processes and choose Enter HU Difference. Enter the handling unit, its last confirmed warehouse task and an exception code. Drill down to the product, enter the quantity difference and post it. Menu numbers can differ by site.
You can't enter a quantity difference while confirming several tasks at once. Confirm the task with the difference on its own instead, entering the actual quantity and the exception code your site uses.
Exception codes are set up by each warehouse and decide where a difference is posted, so the wrong code can leave stock in the wrong place. In one case on the SAP Community, the stock ended up outside EWM and had to be fixed with a stock adjustment. Tell your supervisor straight away so an authorised user can correct it.
Post the goods receipt with the actual quantity and the difference, and choose the process code your site uses to say who caused it. The sending warehouse then receives a correction to clear. Differences caused by the carrier are handled differently. Your set-up may differ, so follow your goods-in procedure.
If your warehouse operatives and supervisors ask questions like these every week, Outcomer answers them on their own screen, using your own SAP EWM set-up and procedures.
See which SAP EWM tasks staff ask about most, which procedure answered each question, and whether it was finished or passed to your support desk. Your IT team can export it at any time.
Outcomer never reads, uses or keeps the data in your systems. It finds each box and button by its label, never what’s typed in it, takes no screenshots, and works from your procedures, not your records.
