Hiring managers and staffing coordinators can ask how to do a task in SAP Fieldglass and see each step on their own screen. The steps follow your organisation's procedures and set-up, not a generic manual.
Book a 10-minute demoAfter the demo, we’ll set up your department free of charge. A small trial confirms it’s accurate, then a larger trial measures the drop in support queries.
We check every step works before your staff see it.
Outcomer isn’t a library of ready-made SAP Fieldglass guides. We build your guides from your own procedures, on your own SAP Fieldglass set-up, and test each one before your staff use it.
Your hiring managers and staffing coordinators get the answer on screen, in SAP Fieldglass and the systems around it, instead of interrupting a colleague or raising a ticket.
Training covers the basics, but questions come up mid-task. Outcomer answers them while your hiring managers and staffing coordinators work in SAP Fieldglass, using your own procedures.
General answers for the standard product. Your own set-up may differ, and that’s what Outcomer follows.
On your home page, open the My Work Items widget and choose Time Sheet. Open a pending time sheet to check it, then tick it and choose Approve or Reject. Before approving, check the days worked, the hours on each day, the task codes and cost objects, and whether hours are in the right rate category, such as overtime.
Choose Expense Sheet from the My Work Items widget on your home page and open the sheet from the pending list. Check the amounts, the items claimed and the expense codes. Then tick it and choose Approve or Reject.
Approving or rejecting several sheets together only works if bulk approval is turned on for your organisation. If it is not, you will only see the option to approve one at a time. Your set-up may differ, so ask your program office if you need it.
Check the time sheet's status. Draft means the worker has not submitted it, and Pending Approval means it is waiting for an approver. A time sheet must be approved before an invoice can be created and before the worker is paid; Invoiced and Paid show it has moved on.
Approving the time sheet would take the worker over the spend agreed on their work order. The message says a work order revision must be created by the buyer and confirmed by the supplier before the time sheet can be approved.
The worker has booked time to a cost centre that is not on their work order. The message says a work order revision must be created by the buyer to change the cost allocation. Once that is done, the time sheet can be approved.
Approval pauses when no approvers are assigned to the role, the approvers lack permission to approve or reject, or nobody has enough signature authority for the amount. Your system administrator needs to fix the approver set-up, and the approval then has to be restarted.
Start a new job posting and, on the Setup page, either copy one of your recent postings or choose from Company Templates. A template loads default values, rates and supplier lists for you. Then complete the Details, Augment and Review and Submit steps. Your organisation's templates and required fields may differ.
Open the job posting and go to the Job Seekers tab. Each row shows the candidate, supplier, rates and whether a CV is attached. Select a candidate and use the buttons above the list, such as Shortlist, Schedule an Interview, Mark as Interviewed, Reject or Select for Hire.
Open the work order and choose Revise from the Actions menu. Change the end date, budget or pay rate as needed, click Continue to review, then save. Depending on your set-up, the revision may need approval and supplier confirmation.
A worker can only enter time once the work order is Confirmed. After the supplier accepts it, the work order must be activated, which sends the worker an invitation to register. It stays Activated until they register, then moves to Confirmed.
If your hiring managers and staffing coordinators ask questions like these every week, Outcomer answers them on their own screen, using your own SAP Fieldglass set-up and procedures.
See which SAP Fieldglass tasks staff ask about most, which procedure answered each question, and whether it was finished or passed to your support desk. Your IT team can export it at any time.
Outcomer never reads, uses or keeps the data in your systems. It finds each box and button by its label, never what’s typed in it, takes no screenshots, and works from your procedures, not your records.
